Uptime guarantee

It is installed when the service starts and renews itself every two months. There is nothing to order and nothing to miss.

How we measure

This is the first thing to ask about any such guarantee. Without it the number means nothing.

From where, how often, and when it counts
1From five places outside our network

Measuring from inside would always show 100% — so the probes sit at other providers. Three in Bulgaria, two in Europe.

SofiaVarnaBurgasFrankfurtAmsterdam
2Every 30 seconds

Each probe checks separately. The check requests a real page, not just a network reply — a site returning an error counts as down.

3It counts when three of the five cannot reach it

A single probe may have trouble at its own provider. Three out of five means the problem is ours.

4Slow counts too

A response over 3 seconds for more than 5 minutes counts as downtime. A site that takes ten seconds has stopped, as far as the visitor is concerned.

5Everything is recorded and visible

The measurements are in your panel, for the last 12 months. You can check them before asking for a credit.

What you get

The credit applies to the monthly fee for the affected service. The band depends on how long it was down.

What this amounts to in practice

Example: a shop on an €18/month VPS. In March the site was down for 2 hours and 40 minutes in total.

This does not cover your losses — and cannot. Every such document works this way; few admit it. That is why our real job is keeping the site up, not handing back small change.

What does not count

The exclusions are at the front, not buried on page eight. They are exactly what usually makes such documents meaningless.

5 exclusions, and that is all

We count them, because there are 5. If there were twenty, the guarantee would mean nothing.

A problem in your own site

A broken plugin, an error in code, memory exhausted by your application. The server works; the site does not.

Planned work announced 48 hours ahead

We do them between 2 and 5 in the morning. If we did not announce it — it counts as downtime.

A service suspended for an unpaid invoice

After three reminders and ten days. Until then everything works normally.

A change of yours we did not know about

A wrong domain setting, a deleted file, a service you stopped yourself. We fix it, but it does not count.

Force majeure

Natural disaster, war, a decision of an authority. Not “heavy traffic” or “a big attack” — those are our job.

Notice what is not on the list: attacks, hardware failure, a mistake by one of our people, a problem at one of our providers. All of those count and all of those are paid.

How to claim a credit

Three steps, a 30-day deadline. It is not automatic — and we will tell you why.

1Check the records in the panel

Services → your service → Uptime. The exact figures for every past month, as we measure them.

2Tell us which service and which month

That is all. No form, nothing to prove — we have the figures too.

3The credit appears within 5 days

On your account in the panel. It is deducted from the next invoice automatically.

Why it is not automaticBecause sometimes the outage affected only some customers, and sometimes only one of your several services. Automatic crediting would be either too generous or too stingy, and both are wrong. So a person looks at each case. It takes them a minute, and we do not refuse when the figures are there.

How much we have paid out

A guarantee that has never paid out is either a flawless service or a document written not to pay. Here are the figures.

Credits paidby year
20252 incidents · 41 customersMail outage in February and slowness in November.418 €
20241 incident · 340 customersThe November evening we also write about on the About page.2 940 €
20232 incidents · 88 customersA failed disk and an outage at a network provider.760 €
20220 incidentsNo month fell below the promise.0 €

If you need more than this

For projects where every minute costs money we sign a separate contract — with a higher promise, penalties instead of credits, and the name of a person who is accountable. Tell us what you need.
