Frequently asked questions
Do I lose registration time?
No. A successful transfer adds one year to the current term. If your domain expires in 4 months, after the transfer it expires in 16.
Will my site go down?
Not if you keep the same DNS records. A transfer changes the registrar, not the hosting. If you are moving hosting too, we do that first so there is no gap.
Why can my domain not be transferred?
Three usual reasons: registered less than 60 days ago, transferred recently, or the lock is still on. The first two are registry rules and only time helps.
What does it cost?
The same as one year of registration for that extension — and that year is added to your term. We charge nothing extra for the help.
What if I do not know the EPP code?
Ask your current registrar; they are obliged to give it. If they stall or refuse, write to us — we know how to push.
Can I transfer a .bg domain?
Yes. The process is manual and goes through Register.BG, which is why documents are needed. It takes up to one business day once we have them.
