Acceptable use

What must not be hosted with us, what happens if someone reports you, and how to object if the report is wrong.

This almost certainly does not concern youIf you have a company site, a shop, a blog or anything normal — none of this affects you. Read on if you are worried about something specific; otherwise pass it by.

What is not allowed

7 things, and all of them obvious. A long list of prohibitions would mean anything could turn out to be a breach.

Unlawful content

Anything that is a crime under Bulgarian law. There is no judgement call on our side — the law is the law.

Sending unsolicited mail

Email to people who did not ask for it. Including bought address lists — the same thing, only paid for.

Fraudulent sites

Pages pretending to be a bank, a mail provider or a shop in order to harvest passwords. Stopped at once, without warning.

Malicious code

Viruses, break-in tools, pages that infect visitors. Including when it happened without your knowledge.

Other people’s work without permission

Films, music, books, paid software. If it is not yours and you have no permission, it should not be here.

Content involving children

Of any kind. Reported to the authorities immediately and without exception. There is no conversation here.

Attacks from our network

Using the service to attack someone else. Including scanning other people’s machines “just to test”.

Is mine allowed?

The things people worry about for no reason. Almost all of them are perfectly fine.

The limits, with numbers

The asterisk next to “unlimited” is the oldest trick in the trade. Here are the real numbers.

What happens if you go overNothing abrupt. First we write and tell you what is causing it — usually one plugin or one query. If it is not fixed and it affects others, we limit only that, not the whole service. Suspension only happens if nothing is done for months.

What happens if someone reports you

Most such policies say “we may terminate immediately at our discretion”. That means “whenever we decide” and frightens everyone.

A person, not a machine. Half the reports are a mistake or a grudge and are closed on the spot.

With the exact page address. We stop nothing at this stage and do not act behind your back.

Three days. If the site was broken into, we help clean it. If the report is wrong, say why.

Three things we stop at once, without the 72 hours

Because every hour harms people who have nothing to do with you:

a fraudulent page harvesting other people’s passwords
content involving children
an active attack from your service against others

Even then we write to you at once and explain. If we got it wrong, we restore it within the hour.

If you think the report is wrong

False reports happen constantly — from competitors, from confused people, from machines scanning indiscriminately. That is why there is a way to object.

1Tell us whyOne sentence is enough. We want no documents and no proof of innocence.

2A second person reviews itNot the one who made the decision. That gives the mistake a chance to surface.

3An answer within 24 hoursWith an explanation of why we stand by the decision or why we reverse it.

If we got it wrong, we say so plainly — and we restore everything, including the lost time under the uptime guarantee. An apology is free; lost time is not.

Seen something wrong on our network?

Write to us. We read every report and reply, including when we decide there is no breach. Give us the page address — without it we can do nothing.
